Things to Do in the Southeastern United States

  • Visit the Nation’s Oldest City– St. Augustine, Florida is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the United States.  Be sure to visit the Castillo de San Marcos, and St. George Street.  Check out our Northeast Florida Itinerary.
  • Explore Washington, DC. – Washington, DC is our nation’s capital.  There are so many incredible museums (such as National Air and Space Museum, The National Museum of American History, and the Holocaust Museum), important sites (such as Ford’s Theater, the White House) and impressive monuments.  Check out our 4 day itinerary with kids.
  • Check out the National Parks– The US is home to more than 60 National Parks, and hundreds of National Park Sites.  The landscape of these parks is jaw-dropping and the parks offer a great opportunity to experience wildlife.

  • Drive the Blue Ride Parkway.  The mountains of North Carolina are absolutely stunning.  The Blue Ride Parkway offers one of the most incredible drives on the east coast.
  • Trace the steps of our forefathers. Much of the United States’ early history took place in the southeast.  Follow the footsteps of Washington, Jefferson, Hamilton, and many more by exploring the countless historical sites dotting the region.
