Legoland

Nestled in between Tampa and Orlando you’ll find one of Florida’s newest theme parks- Legoland Florida.  This super fun theme park is geared towards kids ages 2 to 12- although those that are older than that will still have a blast!

Our favorite thing about this park is that there are rides for visitors of all ages.  They seriously have something for everyone!  Our boys (4) enjoyed Duplo Valley, an area specially designed for toddlers.  Our daughter (7) loves thrill rides and was able to find plenty of rides that got her adrenaline pumping!

Legoland Florida also has a waterpark that is open year-round.  If you plan on hitting up the waterpark, you’ll probably want to tack on an extra day to your trip.  Entrance to the waterpark requires additional fees (the Legoland Florida ticket + the waterpark ticket).

There are three on-site hotels that your family will absolutely love.  We stayed at the Legoland Hotel however, there is also the Pirate Hotel and the Beach Resort.  If you are able to swing staying on property, we suggest doing it.  It will be the icing on the cake!

Throughout these posts, we’ll share with you all of our secrets to maximizing your time in the park, give you the DL on the rides, and share behind the scene footage of our trips.

It is easy to combine Legoland Florida with another theme park.  Believe it or not, Disney World, Universal Studios, Seaworld, and Busch Gardens Tampa Bay are all about an hour away from Legoland Florida!

Address:   One LEGOLAND Way, Winter Haven, FL 33884.
