Visiting the White House is  takes a bit of planning, but it is absolutely worth it.

First, contact a member of Congress.

Click through to our website to find out how to get in touch with your  Congressperson.

Send them an email requesting a tour.  Tours run  from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Tuesdays through Saturdays.

A few weeks later, you'll get an email notifying you if you have been approved for a tour.

To get into the White House, you'll need your approval letter and a government issued ID.

Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. Late arrivals may be turned away.

Once your in, the self-guided tour will last about 30-45 mins.   Secret Service Agents are in each room and can answer any questions you may have.
