We officially kicked off summer break when I bod a “see ya later” to my classroom yesterday. For the next 60 days the kiddos and I will be living our best life!Earlier this year, we bought a Florida State Park Pass and we plan on putting that to good use this summer. Today we checked off our first FSP of the summer!We visited Gold Head Branch State Park, which is located abt an hour from Jacksonville. We started our day with a hike, saw a white tail deer in the ravine, rode bikes, AND went swimming in one of the parks lakes. Needless to say, it was a jam packed morning!🤓 From the official website: One of Florida’s first state parks, the Civilian Conservation Corps developed the 600-acre site during the 1930s. The extraordinary artistry of the CCC is still evident today.Anyone have any suggestions of any MUST see Florida State Parks in northern/central Florida??? Gimme all the suggestions!
